Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Transfer Truck Driver to join our crew. The position involves hauling construction materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt using transfer trucks (including double bottom dumps). The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working on local job sites with a small, dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate transfer trucks, end dumps, and similar heavy-duty vehicles to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain basic upkeep of assigned truck.
• Load and unload materials as needed, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure loads.
• Drive to project sites throughout Monterey County and nearby areas, following dispatch directions.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with site supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow all DOT safety regulations and company safety standards.
• Assist on job sites when not driving, as needed.

Qualifications:
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with transfer trucks, end dumps, or bottom dumps preferred.
• Knowledge of safe loading, driving, and dumping procedures.
• Familiarity with local roads and basic construction site practices.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Able to work early mornings and occasional weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
• Capable of climbing in/out of trucks and trailers.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather and job site conditions.

Schedule & Compensation:
• Monday–Friday, early morning start times
• Occasional weekend or overtime work based on job demand
• Hourly pay, based on experience
• Paid holidays after probationary period
