We’re a test-only smog shop — that means no repair work, just inspections. We’re looking for a Smog Technician to join our team and focus strictly on testing vehicles in a busy, high-volume environment. If you like staying focused on one thing and doing it well, this is a great fit.
What you’ll need:
- Valid California Smog Test License
- FPR score of 0.4 or higher (or no score)
- Valid California driver’s license
- Good attention to detail and ability to stay on schedule
What you’ll do:
- Perform California smog inspections on a variety of vehicles in a high-volume, fast-paced test-only shop
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Make sure vehicles meet state requirements
- No repair work, inspection only
What we’re looking for:
- Flexible schedule (able to work different shifts)
- Experience in a shop or customer service is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, positive attitude with customers
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and on time
