Our projects include commercial buildings, renovations, and site improvements throughout the Central Coast.
Responsibilities
• Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial projects
• Layout and construct framing, blocking, backing, and structural components
• Install doors, hardware, casework, wall protection, and misc. carpentry items
• Assist with concrete forming and related site work when required
• Read and interpret construction plans and field layouts
• Work safely using hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades on site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years carpentry experience
• Commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to read plans and perform layout work
• Knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and installation methods
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred
• Experience with concrete forming
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience working on public works or prevailing wage projects
