Duties:
Reconstruction, build back, and general construction of a revolving 2600 homes in 3 different neighborhoods in Monterey Area.
- Truck and tools required
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform tasks
- Perform work with attention to detail and safety standards
- Execute various duties including framing, drywall, flooring, trim carpentry, tile laying, and interior finishing in an efficient manner
- Pick up work orders and communicate with your supervisors accurately to guide construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications
Requirements:
- Willingness to work diligently
- Must report to work on time and have excellent attendance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Professional demeanor, ethical behavior
- Able to lift or move up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Work well in groups and with a variety of team members
- Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting and installation tasks
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour card (preferred)
- Pass a standard background check & I9 verification
