Very good running condition. Deckel FP2NC Flip Head CNC milling machine that was top of the line when new. Well maintained, with the latest version of Dialog D4 operating system that includes a drip feed capability.
The Dialog 4 operating system provides a full g-code programming environment with a graphic simulator for programs. The latest version of D4 also supports helical paths, thread milling, parameter programming, polar coordinates and an RS232 interface. The Dialog conversational operating system supports manual operation, mpg operation, coordinate interface for easy goto and rapids, in addition to two fully automated modes to run g-code programs, including a single step mode. The flip head provides the capability of working in both horizontal and vertical mode without losing tram, making it easy to switch back and forth (unlike older machines). The flip head also provides a spindle which uses high-precision angular contact ball bearings, and a 6300 RPM top speed. The spindles use CAT40 or SK40 taper tooling.
The machine is equipped with a fixed table, Heidenhain glass scales, MPG pendant, Tool Change pendant, a coolant tank and pump and a full enclosure. The enclosure will need some repairs, it has not been in use recently. The horizontal spindle is not visible in the photos (it is behind the flip head). The flip head cover is included with the machine.
Machine travels are 300 mm (11.8 in) in the X-axis (longitudinal), 300 mm (11.8 in) in the Y-axis (lateral), and 400 mm (15.7 in) in the Z-axis (vertical). Machine weight is approximately 3000 pounds, including electrical cabinet.
Included with the machine are an operators manual, parts manual, machine light, RS232 cables, set of new Sunnex machine levelers (feet) and both 4" and 6" vises.
I can load a tilt or hydraulic lift trailer, and a forklift is available from a local rental company. I can also crate or palletize the mill and electrical cabinet and deliver to a local shipping company for a reasonable charge. I would be glad to demo the machine if you want to see it running.
