This listing is for a custom-made rifle barrel rack used for storing up to 96 individual rifle barrels in one small location. It is made out of solid oak and has 4 casters on the underneath side, so the rack can be easily moved while loaded with up to 200 pounds of rifle barrels. The rack stands 24 1/2" high. The overall size is 21 5/8" wide by 27 1/4" long. Each of the partitioned-off 96 square storage spaces (both at the top and bottom) are fabricated with 3/8" diameter hardwood dowels, so that the rifle barrels are 100% protected from touching each other. Each squared-off area measures 1 3/4" by 1 3/4". The very bottom of the rack has a piece of carpet to protect the barrels from being scratched. This storage rack came out of a gun shop in northern California and was used in the 1970s and 90s. It could likely be used for storing other objects similar to the shape of gun barrels. The squared-off partitions can be easily removed and the rack can be used or modified for other applications.
