Military Mom requires 8-month Residence

With a daughter attending Presidio of Monterey for next 8 months, she’s asked me to relocate for moral support. The housing prices are a shock in comparison to where I originated, and I cannot sign a year lease. Also, I have an assigned ADA Service Trained Animal (not ESA). While I am retired from corporate writing, I’m currently engaged in writing novels, so calmness is appreciated. While a furnished area would work best, I could purchase furnishings if necessary.
