The 21'x13' room for rent is fully furnished with new plush carpeting and deluxe pad. The awe-inspiring views of the canyon can be taken in from bed or from a private deck connected to the room (see photo). Surrounded by trees and wildlife, it is south facing so typically, it gets sun most of the day. The room has a picture window and a sliding glass door with stunning views of the mountains. Its feature ample living space with built in closets, bedroom set full bed, dresser, shelves and drafting table; a bathroom with radiant heated flooring, a large two sink vanity, bathroom and shower (see photo).
The home has mountain views from all rooms. Almost an acre, the property has more than 40 trees and extensive outdoor living spaces including a Rose Garden, side yard and lower Lavendar Garden, a dedicated private space (free from dog access). My favorite are the five large sequoias that draw down precipitation and makes it rain on cloudy mornings. Also, a Meyer lemon tree offers fruit most of the year.
House has fully furnished kitchen that you would be welcome to use. It is stocked with furnishing - appliances (toaster, waffle maker, blender etc.), pots and pans and all dishes/glassware that you might need. There is a half bath connected to the kitchen to wash hands and serve as a guest bathroom. Off to the side of the kitchen, you have access to a large laundry room with new washer, dryer and iron/ironing board. On the other side of the kitchen is a beautiful dining room with a view complete with wine rack, coffee and wet bar. A beautiful living room with gas/wood fireplace, Italian leather sectional and grand piano will be a shared community space for gathering.
Environment is serene, quiet and clean. I do have two Mini Aussies, Josephina "Jo Jo" and Cielo "Kai" (see photo) so hopefully you are a dog lover. They are not allowed in the carpeted bedroom you would be renting.
Tenant parking is in front of the garage on the driveway which sits on the hill away from the street and traffic.
The room for rent is fully furnished with a shared bathroom with one other tenant.
Location: House is located in a Canyon near mid valley Safeway. It is close to Garland Park, 7 miles to the village and all of the wonderful restaurants and wine tasting the village has to offer. Bernardus Lodge is 5 minutes away and Carmel-by-the Sea and Pebble Beach are about 10-15 minutes away and Monterey is about 20 minutes away.
About me: I'm a mature, professional woman considering a lifestyle change. The rental income will offer me a cushion to leave the hustle and bustle of my Executive Career and reinvent the next phase of my life. Most days I start my day walking my dogs at the beach or nearby trail. My time is spent mostly in the Ensuite that I reside in with a separate outdoor space from the renter's room. I'm self-contained except for times I use the kitchen, dining room, office and living room with piano. I am very open to establishing healthy living environment with shared community spaces that will nurture both of us. If you want to come and go with hardly any interaction, that's completely fine. If you would like a more social experience, when are schedule allows, we can try to organize a house dinner, etc.
Looking for clean, considerate and quiet renter. House has been recently renovated and completely furnished. There are two house dogs that come in and out of a doggy door in the living room are during the day but come inside in my room at night. So probably best if you aren't allergic to pets and love them. Mine dogs are very protective at first then become social. This is a quiet neighborhood. It isn't a party location, though sometimes we may decide to arrange house dinner. No illegal drugs, no smoking on property. It's a serene sanctuary.
Rent is $1750/month and includes all basic utilities, but also wireless Internet and Spectrum TV w Netflix, and Prime.
$3500 Refundable Security Deposit Required minus cleaning or any damages. Looking for a 12-month lease with option to cancel with 60 days' notice.
