We are a non-profit organization looking for a home to purchase, rent or build on land to provide housing, vocational skills, mentoring and a nurturing environment for men and/or women who completed a rehab program. Ideally, once a participant begins to work, they will pay rent up to $400-$500 per month until they are able to obtain housing on their own. We will provide a safe, loving, and compassionate environment to promote healing and restoration from past traumas or deep wounds. The board of directors and staff include a certified medical social worker/counselor, a registered nurse, a pastor from the Monterey County Jail and a holistic nutritionist. There is a tremendous shortage and a long waiting list for affordable housing. If you have a huge heart to help people and make a difference in people’s lives, this would be part of your legacy.
