AN INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Oversees the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing process of our organization’s products and supplies. The main duties include controlling the flow of inventory and supplies, tracking, and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation and reducing shrinkage.
• Responsible for using complex supply chain management software to enhance effectiveness when stocking retail inventory.
• Specialist will work in retail and merchandising, where they take stock of current items and are responsible for making sure there is enough inventory on hand in the store.
• Must have impressive analytical and record-keeping abilities so they may easily track incoming shipments.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively take stock of inventories and extrapolate prior inventory reports.
• Expected to be able to multitask and handle unexpected situations in a calm logical manner.
• Maintain records and invoices from deliveries and shipments, identify which products are needed to be replenished with supply chain software to calculate monthly and holiday demand.
• Successfully complete monthly cycle count inventory and holiday weekend coverage are schedule on needed basis for this position.
