My name is Vanessa. I'm seeking a position as an aide assisting an individual with elderly care. I'm willing to work part-time. I'm pretty flexible in that area. I would also be willing to consider starting out as part-time and if we are a compatible match increasing hours over time. My schedule for working hours is pretty available except Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. where I have a volunteer commitment. I'd prefer a position on the peninsula as I reside in Seaside.
A little bit about myself:
I'm originally from Sacramento. After community college I moved to Monterey where I attended the CSU there. I then went on to get my masters in Malibu at Pepperdine University. I returned to the Monterey Peninsula where I have lived over the past 19+ years. Mostly nonprofit work and advocacy.
I've never had any children of my own but lots of nieces and nephews. No criminal record. I have my own transportation and clean driving record. CPR trained and certified, it will need to be renewed March of 2026.
In my twenties I worked on and off as a nanny. In my thirties I've worked on and off as a caregiver for the elderly; I have experience with people with dementia including in my personal life my mother.
