Entry Level Trades Apprentice(none/limited prior experience) (Salinas)

Trying to secure a starting position to kick start my career in the trades. I recently did 4 months of part-time volunteer work as a Maintenance Technician where I did veryyy limited hands-on-training of MINOR drywall repair, bathroom/kitchen appliance installation, interior & exterior painting, plumbing(unclog sinks&toilets), receptacle installation and curb appeal. Due to laws and regulations, I was only able to observe HVAC contractors at work.

I have applied to the Tri-County Electricians Union so who knows how that will play out. I also have active applications to many "no experience/entry-level/train-on-the-job" positions. I do not have access to the GI bill and paying out of pocket for school is currently not an option.

I'm willing to travel to surrounding cities such as Monterey, Marina and Watsonville. What I lack in experience and education background I make up for it with gusto, dedication and positive attitude.

Please share your suggestions, leads, opinions and or words of wisdom :D

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for taking the time to read though this and my resume!
