Black Milk Snake (Monterey)

This beautiful black milksnake (Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae) female is very docile and has never struck at me, though she is a bit squirmy when handled. She has a strong feeding response and eats frozen-thawed mice with no issues.

While she would make a fantastic pet, I would not recommend her for breeding. She has a very small, barely noticeable depression along her back that may be genetic.
