We’re looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC installer for two projects in Morgan Hill and Gilroy.
You MUST have recent references, preferably from Bay Area contractors or Bay Area customers.
If you take pride in clean ductwork and you know how to read a set of plans, we want to hear from you.
If these projects go well, we might have additional work for you.
THE PAY:
* $65 per hour (paid at end of day)
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Rough-ins and Trim-outs: Replacement HVAC installations for renovations or new home builds from start to finish.
• Ductwork: Install flex and rigid duct systems efficiently and cleanly according to plans.
• Equipment Installation: Set and install furnaces, air handlers, coils, and AC condensers.
• Piping: Run, braze, and pressure-test copper line sets.
• Compliance: Ensure all installations meet local building codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Site Maintenance: Keep the job site, company truck, and equipment clean and organized.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience specifically in HVAC installation (residential new construction preferred).
• Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and plans.
• Tools: Must have your own basic HVAC hand tools (we provide major equipment).
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50+ lbs), work in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and handle the physical demands of construction sites.
• EPA Certification is a huge plus, but not required to apply.
You will be working on residential projects ranging from total gut renovations to ground-up new construction.
