Position Overview: modSTORAGE is seeking a reliable and skilled full-time Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our self-storage facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational property while addressing maintenance needs promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on storage units, doors, gates, and facility infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and assist with access control systems, gate operators, and basic electrical components.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain cleanliness of the property, including hallways, drive aisles, and common areas.
Respond to maintenance requests and urgent issues in a timely manner.
Assist with minor landscaping, debris removal, and general upkeep.
Document completed work and report any ongoing concerns to management.
Qualifications: Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general repair work.
Ability to troubleshoot common facility systems and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb as needed throughout the day.
