We’re hiring reliable, hard-working crew members to assist with wedding setup and breakdown at a venue in Big Sur. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role—ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors in a rugged environment and being part of a small, efficient team.
Job Responsibilities:
Moving and setting up tables, chairs, and heavy furniture and lightning
Breaking down events at the end of the night
General cleaning and site prep
Wiping down tables, surfaces, and event areas
Maintaining clean and stocked bathrooms throughout events
Using tools such as leaf blowers to keep the property tidy
What We’re Looking For:
Physically strong and able to lift/move heavy items repeatedly
Comfortable working long, active shifts on your feet
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Team player who can take direction and move efficiently
Punctual and dependable
Someone with experience in gardening, maintenance, electrical is a plus
Schedule:
Primarily weekends (mostly Saturdays, some Fridays and Sundays)
typical hours: 9AM to 11PM
Season runs from early May through late October
Not every weekend required—full schedule provided in advance
Requirements:
Reliable transportation (must be able to get to Big Sur on time)
Bank account for payroll
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate: $25 an hour for partial days, or $350 flat for full days
