As a small, experienced refinishing business, we specialize in thoughtfully restoring solid wood furniture with intention, patience, and expert care. Each piece we create is one of a kind—refinished by hand, never mass-produced, and built to be enjoyed for years to come.
The piece was thoroughly cleaned and prepped to remove years of residue and buildup. All surfaces were assessed for integrity, ensuring the original solid wood structure remained sound. The existing finish was carefully sanded, a high-quality bonding primer was applied to ensure proper paint adhesion and long-term durability. Multiple thin coats of premium furniture-grade black paint by Wise Owl were applied, allowing proper drying time between layers. Each coat was lightly sanded to achieve a smooth, professional finish with depth and richness. The top and base were refreshed to highlight the natural warmth of the wood, adding contrast and grounding the piece with a timeless, organic feel. The entire piece was sealed with a durable, furniture-safe topcoat to protect against wear while maintaining a soft, elegant finish. Finished with sleek brass hardware, chosen to complement the deep black finish and elevate the overall design.
Storage - 4 cabinet doors. Either side open up to open adjustable shelving and the middle cabinets open up to 2 sliding drawers
