Looking for a talented barista to join our café team! We're a small and fun specialty coffee and cheese shop that takes pride in creating really good drinks and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality, specialty espresso beverages and teas
Engage with customers
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Recommend products from our retail selection
Keep the café clean, organized and inviting
Handle transactions and provide stellar customer service
Be part of creating a warm, friendly environment
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older as we also sell wine and beer
Passion for specialty coffee with 1+ years of experience
Reliability and ability to handle fast-paced morning rushes while maintaining quality
Excellent customer service skills
Available for weekends
Food Handler's certification (or willing to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
Latte art skills, or willing to learn from your team lead
Experience with lever expresso machine or La Pavoni machines
Retail experience
Cash handling experience
Interest in gourmet food
