$22.31 an hour starting rate.
A Nursery Attendant at UUCMP is responsible for:
• Arriving ready for work at 9 am Sunday mornings and working until 12:30pm. (Additional hours may be requested for childcare following service or for special church events.)
• Ensuring the nursery is clean and ready to receive babies and toddlers
• Greeting volunteers, guardians, and children.
• Ensure 2 adults are with children at all times.
• Supervising 1-5 youth ages 6 months to 3 years old, providing clear instruction and support.
• Cleaning the classroom or space used after use.
• Cultivating a culture of welcome and acceptance to all families while using anti-racist, anti-oppressive, anti-ableist language and behavior.
• Communicating with fellow teachers and the Director of Religious Exploration about classroom needs, child behavior, concerns, accidents, and scheduling.
• Learning safety procedures for the church and training for first aid and CPR.
• Attending and participating in one Religious Exploration teaching staff meeting each month.
