(TEXT MY CELL FOR FASTEST REPLIES) Up for sale is my 1969 Opel GT with the 1.9L and automatic transmission. I recently got the car from a friend who did not have room for another project. I got it to just tinker on in the meantime. Not in a rush to sell, just want to see if there is any interest before I put time and money into it.

The Pros:
The car does start, run, drive, and stop. It is complete, with no serious rotting, the floor pans are exposed and are extremely solid. It has cool patina on the paint(I planned to just clear coat and keep it). It starts right up( can send a video). Comes with a table full of parts (pictured) I took off the valve cover and the head looks very clean with no sludge. The body is straight for what it is. The car does have matching VIN numbers on plate in engine bay/door jam. Just bought a Brand new battery.

The cons:
Obviously needs interior work, the suspension is only on bump stops at the moment and it rides very low, I have a steep driveway and had to reverse it in. There are no keys for it, it has a switch put in to start the car. The car will be sold with only bill of sale. From what I know it was saved from a junkyard with no paperwork. If it does not sell, I will try to go through the process of getting a title and registered in my name. So it will need to be towed.

All in all, it’s a solid car with good bones and I think is definitely worth trying to save and get back on the road. Again not in a rush, I’ll always try finding parts/working on it if the ad is up it’s still available. Serious inquiries text me at
show contact info . Open to offers.

It is located in Seaside, CA and I’m available to show it daily but please do not waste my time. I will upload more pictures very soon.
