2016 Jaguar f type V6s six speed manual. Row your own.
The Jaguar F-Type was manufactured from 2013 -> 2024, with collectors preferring the years pre-facelift (2021).
For the entire 11 year (132 month - 2013->2024) run, Jag offered the manual transmission for 28 months from 2016 to 2019.
During those 28 months, only 4% off the line were 6 speed.
As of this posting I can find 267 used Jaguar F-Types for sale nationwide. 2 of 267 are manual.
This is the 3rd.
For fans of Top Gear - Jeremy Clarkson famously said the Jaguar F-Type is:
"an X-rated hardcore monster for the terminally unhinged".
For fans of Jeremy Clarkson - you'll know he drove all of them. AWD. V8. Rspec. etc. And if he were to have one, he'd have:
the V6 over the V8 - for the weight balance;
the six speed over the auto;
and the hard top over the rag.
You can quote him.
The supercharged V6 of this year is no slouch at a reported 380hp. Most agree that is under reported. Myself included - we think 396.
When properly specced - Jeremy Clarkson loves this car. Chris Harris loves this car. Throttle House loves this car. I am none of these guys, but I also love this car.
Having checked comps and because KBB doesn't properly categorize the manual, I have to go with recent sales from BAT (Bring A Trailer) and CaB (Cars & Bids). My asking price reflects spec and comp within last 18months for the few of these sold. You'll see a completed transaction for a lesser optioned white on red with the same miles on BAT in 2024.
Of the two that are currently listed - one is a red spec asking in the 30s (a good deal if it's real, despite the spec) and the other is a green spec asking 50 (obviously modified - could be okay, I don't know). Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm offering an unmodified and collector spec at 46, and feel that's correct. Doing my best to price this properly.
Onto this car:
Fully stock, never modified, everything works, yada;
42k on the clock. No paint work. No gremlins. *weak point* Coolant system sorted (replaced to OEM under 3rd party warranty last year). Pink in hand. Drive it or store it. I'll answer questions.
Blemishes:
Has a bra (clear ppf esque circa 2016) from nose to behind doors. Bra is old. I opted not to take it off - you can replace with your new material of choice, but paint underneath is pristine.
On-steering-wheel buttons. These peel to white. Each pod costs $15 to replace (2 pods, one left one right). I didn't do it, so the original pods remain.
Key fobs. Crappy glue. Both factory fobs come with. Easy fix, but again - not replaced. I am nitpicking for the sake of disclosure....
And that's it. Even the from-factory (unused) wheel patch kit is in the trunk.
My next place (Sierras) has no garage and a horrible climate.
Reason selling - moving from Pebble Beach CA to Lake Tahoe CA.
