This 1969 Ford Ranchero is in very nice running condition. The 351 Windsor engine has been rebuilt with an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold installed, along with a 4-barrel 600 Holley carburetor. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. I have owned this Ranchero for the last 22 years for use as an automotive shop truck and I have always garaged it. The previous owner was also a California resident, who resided in a dry desert area east of San Diego. Because of that sheltered previous life, the Ranchero body and frame are virtually rust-free, which makes this vehicle the perfect candidate for restoration. Remarkably, after 56 years the car retains nearly all of its original parts and it has not been cutup for building a restomod, totaled, or parted-out. The original Ranchero color was a light green, which had been repainted blue long before I purchased it in 2003. The interior has what appears to be the original upholstery that is in good condition. The 14" steel rims have been chrome plated and wear baby-moon hubcaps. The 215/70 R14 General tires are like new. This Ranchero is a strong survivor that is in outstanding condition and deserves a complete restoration. The 2026 registration is paid for and the license plates are the original 1963 series that were issued in 1969.
