2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. 376,000 miles on odometer. 4x4. Seats 4. Selling as is.
This truck has been our only mode of transportation since we bought it in 2011 from the original owner. We have used it to pull a travel trailer across the country several times.
There is a small oil leak in the engine. There is also a leak around the fuel pump. We have kept the leak in check by never filling the gas tank more than half full. There is an access hole to the fuel pump cut into the floor of the truck under the driver's side backseat for easy access if you want to repair the leak.
Engine was replaced around 300K miles. The new engine was a 2006 with about 94K miles on it. Transmission was rebuilt in 2018. Brand new alternator installed recently. Tires in pretty good condition (see photos). A/C works but something is going on with the blower, it doesn't blow as hard as it should.
This vehicle has never been smog tested as it has always been registered in Florida.
Cosmetic: The body is in decent condition. There is a large patch of peeling paint on the driver's side. Driver's side mirror is loose and needs to be repaired. Front bumper was dented before we purchased the vehicle in 2011. Running board is present only on driver's side. Tail light covers need to be repaired or replaced (they are currently held on with tape).
Interior has lots of storage/cargo space - the third row seat is not with the vehicle anymore. Headliner needs to be redone. Passenger side visor is broken. Dashboard is cracked. Seat leather on the driver's seat has been swapped with the leather on one of the back seats because the leather is ripped. Back windows do not work.
Despite all its problems, it does run and has been a reliable mode of transportation for many years. Asking $2000 or best offer.
