She needs work, which is why the price is low, but she’s running and could be a great project for the right person.
The Good:
Turbo engine
Convertible
Recently got a brand new battery
Coolant system just repaired
Runs and drives
Fun car with lots of personality
What Needs Attention:
Starter will need replacing soon
Airbag light is on (needs servicing)
Convertible top does not work (electrical issue)
Passenger door latch sensor broken (door locks but doesn’t beep, leaves ~1cm gap at window/top)
Glove compartment latch broken
Cosmetic damage on driver’s side bottom panel (see pics)
Minor accident in 2018: front left headlight sits slightly off (not on Carfax)
Right front wheel bug panel replaced, slightly lighter color than rest of car
Windshield has a small crack (hasn’t spread for years)
Overall:
This Beetle runs but needs TLC and would be best for someone who enjoys fixing cars or wants a fun project. It has a lot of character and potential, but it’s not ready for someone looking for a perfect daily driver.
