For Sale: a fabulous used Hudson Marquis Bed. It is comprised of various seamed planks of walnut accented with polished solid bronze ends of the headboard. It is held together with bronze butterflies. The head board measures 13 feet and 8 inches long and 55 inches tall. The mattress frame measures 76 x 80 inches which constitutes a King Size bed. The bed has a few minor issues as follows: The left center support beam from headboard to footboard is was cracked apart and poorly repaired with wood glue and screws. This occurred when someone assembling the bed improperly forced the joints together with a hammer or heavy device. The bed frame has two small chips of which one has the chipped off piece available . The size of the other chip which has no replacement piece is shown next to a penny. The headboard has a few check fractures to the finish.
The cost of this bed from the factory varies from $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 brand new. This bed has had two previous owners. Condition as stated and shown in our photos
The bed is very heavy with walnut planking and solid bronze headboard ends therefore is it local pickup.
