Improv is a form of theatre where what is created is performed “on the spot” by the players. You will learn to “think on your feet” and “out of the box!” Be creative, make friends, and have fun! Connect, play, and grow. Classes are open to anyone, from any background, and with any skill set. No experience necessary.

Days: Tuesdays
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Cost: $10 per class

Maria Dawson has been teaching theatre arts and performing improv on the Monterey Peninsula for 30+ years. She has an MA in Education, and the ability to inspire, motivate and appropriately challenge students. She is creative, exuberant, and has a positive attitude that is infectious. Maria is also the director of Comedy Variety Showcase, which embraces every style of comedy, and features the talents of local comedic acts such as the extraordinary improv troupe “Controlled Chaos.”
