The top folds back for a flat surface that can be used as a console table when not in use.

Spinet desks originated from the conversion of spinet pianos and harpsichords into desks. The name comes from the instrument's resemblance to the desk, which has a hinged top that folds back to reveal a writing surface. Spinet desks were made in early 1900's.

Measures 28.75" wide x 15.75" deep x 32" high.

It has a few nicks and scrapes.

Condition: This is a vintage piece and displays typical wear from aging.
