This is an antique pre-prohibition stoneware ceramic bourbon bottle of jug from the Yellowstone Saloon in San Francisco that was saved by two men, Twomey & Miholovich who had these rare bottles especially made in the Midwest at great expense for that time.
The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and normal original minor glaze pitting. It is 9 1/2" tall and says embossed"Twomey & Miholovich, The Yellowstone, O.P.S. Bourbon, 22 Montgomery St, SF" and the back has an embossed floral design. It has a stoneware stopper that fits perfectly that is shaped like a skull, in good condition with just a little wear to the eye glaze, but not sure if the stopper is original to this bottle, but comes with it, $375
