The Space:
Peaceful, gated 2-room private studio attached to the back of main ranch house, has its own separate outdoor table/chair 'patio', separate entrance, breakfast nook, kitchenette, living / bedroom, bright bathroom, private safe parking. Weather temperature very comfortable.
Layout: Entrance area has 2 steps, large extra fridge, and closet-type extra cabinet, then the front door which opens into a dining nook/mudroom with window. French doors lead to the main studio kitchenette (microwave, half fridge, broiler, air fryer, dishes sink, cupboards with plates/cups, etc.) new propane heater, living/bedroom with futon, table/chair, large closet, large window, and a private shower/sink bathroom.
Capacity: To ensure the efficiency of our private country utilities, we are looking for a maximum of 2 occupants, 2 vehicles. Cats OK (I have 2 outdoor/indoor cats so compatibility needs to be checked).
Dogs may be possible, depending on breed, size, behavior (increase in rent $75.00). Possible dog yard available pending dog. (increase in rent $75.00)
Electrical: 20-amp service. Wall propane heating works great. No electric space heaters but electric blankets are okay.
Water/Septic: Usage is shared with small family house and horse!
Internet: Spectrum Wi-Fi fabulous included w utilities.
Fire Safety: NO Barbeques, smoking, anywhere on the property. No electric heaters. Insurance requires a non-smoking environment.
Parking: within private gated entry and right next to studio is assigned private parking for two vehicles. Place to wash cars too!
Location:
Excellent access to 101 / 156 in country. 10-20 minutes to Colleges, CSUMB, Hartnell, Gavilan, Hospitals: Salinas Valley/Natividad, Community Hospital of Monterey, Carmel. and Gilroy. 30–50 minutes to Silicon Valley. Great weather area for hiking, biking, jogging, and sports. Shopping and Washer/Dryer services within 5-10 minutes.
Terms:
Monthly RENT: $1,150, UTILITIES: $250 = $1400
Deposit: $1,400 Security Deposit + $100 Cleaning Deposit (Refundable).
Screening: We require a short pre-application after first visit; then if move forward the formal application (verifiable income, credit check, and rental references, etc.)
